A Full Range of Diagnostic Services in One Place

Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Center
1321 Cottonwood Street
Woodland, CA

Woodland Healthcare offers the most comprehensive diagnostic imaging services in Yolo County.

Multi-detector Detector Computed Tomography (MDCT) Scanner
Better than catheter based angiography, Woodland Healthcare's CT scanner captures detailed cross sections of structures in the body, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, bones, blood vessels and spinal cord. CT scans help physicians diagnose everything from lung cancer and stroke to traumatic internal injuries. For patients, a CT scan is simple, painless and noninvasive.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) & Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)
MRI machines excel at imaging soft tissue in the body, including organs such as the heart, blood vessels, tendons and ligaments. MRI can clearly distinguish a variety of diseases, enabling physicians to make a correct diagnosis and plan an effective course of treatment quickly. MRA is a very useful way of finding problems with blood vessels (blockages, blow-outs or abnormal connections) and determining how to best to treat those problems. Procedure can be done without or with IV contrast based on protocol and Radiologist.

Full Field Digital Mammography with Computer Aided Detection (CAD)
Digital mammography captures x-ray images through a computer rather than on x-ray film. Images are available immediately- no more waiting for film developing. Image quality can be enhanced, and views of specific areas of the breast can be magnified, optimizing the physician's ability to read the images. Our new system utilizes Computer Aided Detection (CAD), and has the ability to assist radiologists in detecting cancers at the earliest stages possible.

Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
PET scanning gives physicians information about the body's metabolic or cellular functions. When combined with anatomic information from the CT scan, it provides the most accurate representation of a patient's condition. The combination of PET and CT scanning aids in early detection of cancer, Alzheimer's disease and heart disease along with other serious medical conditions.

Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
An advanced technology for the acquisition, storage and management of digital medical images, PACS allows physicians to simultaneously access digital, high-resolution images - X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound - from any networked computer. Using instantly available images, physicians can diagnose problems and prescribe treatments much more quickly.

Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
A computer-based patient medical record system, EMR provides patient data - clinical notes, prescriptions, scheduling, lab results - in one location, allowing clinical staff to get the information they need right away. EMR also ensures accurate and complete claims processing by insurance companies. Use our convenient online directory to help find a Woodland Healthcare doctor.
